Design Coordinator, Interiors

In the role of Design Coordinators, Interiors we'll count on you to: Have a broad brush that covers interior design focused employees who are not NCIDQ certificate holders. Generally this position is for individuals fresh out of college who are working to fulfill the required employment hours to sit for the NCIDQ examination. This individual must demonstrate solid design thinking and strong knowledge of design fundamentals as expressed by their college portfolio. S/he must possess good oral and written communication skills, and must be able to clearly present and explain a design concept to supervisors and peers. Having the ability to take direction from others and maintain a positive attitude is paramount, along with being a self-starter and team player. A strong desire to learn about and to progress through the interior design profession is critical. Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, the Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/ Rhino (or similar), Bluebeam and Microsoft Office is required. Preferred Qualifications: LEED Green Associate Local candidates preferred Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Relevant internship experience HDR is our company.
