Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel, ensuring efficiency, strategic alignment, and achievement of business objectives. The DOO will oversee the operation of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services, along with Engineering and the Food & Beverage departments. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this leadership role requires a dynamic individual who excels in guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team development. Your goal will be to maintain Hotel Zoe's reputation as a premier destination for hospitality and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and luxurious stay by implementing and maintaining superior service standards. Monitor guest feedback channels and respond proactively to address concerns or enhance experiences. Collaborate with other departments to create personalized experiences that align with the hotel's sophisticated hideaway concept. Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Engineering operations. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, occupancy, and revenue. Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial goals for all departments are achieved. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a dedicated team committed to delivering world-class service. Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement within all departments. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure team growth and satisfaction. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all department operations comply with hotel policies, local regulations, and safety standards. Maintain a pristine and welcoming environment in all guest areas. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in the Operations Division or similar role in a luxury or boutique hotel setting. Proven track record of driving guest satisfaction and operational success. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Passion for delivering personalized service in a sophisticated environment.
