Cleanroom Sanitation Technician
Location: Englewood, CO Shifts: 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4pm 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 3:30pm - 12am (+ 2/hr shift differential) 3rd Shift: Mon-Fri 10pm - 6:30am (+3/hr shift differential) Pay: $19 - 24/hr, depending on experience and shift preference Essential Functions
As a Cleanroom Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our aseptic environments. Responsibilities include: Performing routine and enhanced cleaning of aseptic cleanrooms and supporting areas using defined techniques. Aseptically donning sterile garb and demonstrating aseptic technique in cleanroom environments. Preparing, labeling, and using cleaning materials and solutions accurately. Sorting and disposing of pharmaceutical waste materials in compliance with SOPs. Following SOPs, batch record instructions, and quality documentation with precision. Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with cGMP principles. Reporting equipment, facility, or process concerns and recommending improvements. Supporting QC sampling, equipment calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance. Adhering to safety policies and proactively identifying unsafe conditions. Lifting up to 40 lbs. and standing for extended periods as required. Performing equipment setup or preparation activities in support of production. Maintaining sanitation-related equipment. Performing other duties as assigned. Necessary Experience & Skills
High school diploma or GED required. Understanding of aseptic techniques/environments and cGMP requirements preferred, but not required. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred (i.e. medical device, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing). Familiarity with sterile manufacturing, cleaning, and gowning techniques preferred. High integrity and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Willingness to work extended hours and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work independently or in a team with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must pass English Competency Test. Cleanroom Gear Requirements
Working in a cleanroom environment requires strict adherence to sterile protocols and specialized gear, including: Bunny Suit: Full-body sterile coverall designed to prevent contamination. Sterile Gloves: Worn over sanitized hands to maintain aseptic conditions. Eye Protection: To prevent contamination from respiratory droplets and ensure safety. Boot Covers: Sterile covers worn over footwear to maintain cleanroom integrity. Hair and Beard Covers: Required to fully contain hair and facial hair. Sterile Gowning Procedures: All gear must be donned aseptically in a controlled environment. Training will be provided to ensure proper gowning and aseptic techniques are followed consistently. The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
