Maintenance Technician
Support the manufacturing areas with a focus on minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the overall Production System as well as company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to ensure a reliable production platform. Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities. Manage machine uptime and downtime. Support Kaizen and other related activities. Maintain hydraulic equipment, including metal presses. Schedule daily documents. Utilize PLC knowledge for logging in (no editing required). Read and interpret industrial electrical schematics. Understand servo motion. Work with complex equipment assembly knowledge. Offer suggestions for countermeasures for Kaizen activities. Continually use good interpersonal skills. Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment. Essential Skills: 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication. Knowledge of metal stamping presses (strongly preferred). High School diploma or GED required. Industrial Maintenance Associate's degree preferred. PLC training. Circuit motion experience. Formal hydraulic training. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Basic writing and comprehension skills. Field sketching for fabrication. Robotics and automated welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in maintenance technician roles. Skills in hydraulics maintenance and press maintenance. Troubleshooting skills in PLCs, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
