We are looking for a dedicated individual to function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager. The role involves assisting in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, providing exemplary customer service, and performing other duties to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses. Duties and essential job functions include unloading trucks, following company work processes, stocking merchandise, restocking returned and recovered merchandise, assisting in plan-o-gram implementation, assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, operating cash registers, and following company policies and procedures. Qualifications include knowledge of mathematical calculations, cash handling procedures, IBM cash register functions, safety policies and practices, and reading and following plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance. High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) is preferred.
