Location: 1 University Square Drive, Princeton, NJ 8540 Job Duties: Responsible for delivering accurate investment reporting for clients through preparation, review and ensuring distribution of various accounting packages and reporting schedules. Completing all quarterly/annual NAIC reconciliations and reporting in compliance with U.S. Statutory guidelines. Providing complete and accurate review of data to clients' book of business to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyzing accounting data and providing commentary regarding results. Assist in client or department projects and initiatives to improve the service offering. Qualifications: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field and one (1) year of experience as an Accountant, Auditor or related. In the alternative, the Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field and three (3) years of experience as an Accountant, Auditor or related. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Comprehension of Alternative Investments such as limited partnerships, real estate assets, and affiliated assets; Understanding of partnership statements and related transactions as it relates to the balance sheet and P&L reports; GAAP & STAT accounting for limited partnerships, limited partnerships asset class and the general/limited partner structure and transaction types; NAIC Insurance Accounting Regulatory reporting for Other Invested Assets (Quarterly and Annual filing), inclusive of all activity and roll forwards; Responding to daily inquiries from clients requesting of information, preparing for calls and leading conversations with clients, understanding the client's business and building a rapport with them; and Reviewing other team members' work before submitting to client for regulatory reporting.
