GIS Analyst
Join one of the region's largest gas utilities as a GIS Analyst, where you'll play a key role in supporting engineering and construction management teams by maintaining and enhancing our Geographic Information System (GIS). This position is ideal for someone with a strong GIS background and a passion for utility infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Execute assignments using WG ARM, SW, and AppEx platforms. Maintain and update GIS data within the Smallworld environment. Serve as a system tester for the UOX GIS Migration project. Assist with data migration and data cleansing initiatives. Support and drive the completion of ongoing GIS-related projects. Required Qualifications: 13 years of experience in a GIS-focused role. Background in the gas utility sector. Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, or a related discipline. Proficiency in ESRI ArcPro and ArcGIS. Familiarity with Smallworld and gas transmission/distribution systems. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of hands-on GIS experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Work Environment: In-office presence required 23 days per week. Core working hours: 9:00 AM
3:00 PM. Reports to the Manager of Operations Geo Spatial Mapping. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
