Appointment Type: Seasonal Full Time, Seasonal Part Time Overview: This is a non-supervisory position that will provide the ability to speak fluently with guests and staff in their native language. The Bilingual Specialist reports directly to the Director of Patrol, Ski Patrol Manager, and Ski Patrol Supervisor. This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by the Solitude Ski Patrol Union. Key requirements: Must be employed as a Solitude Mountain Patroller Demonstrate the ability to speak fluently in another accepted language with resort guests and staff Ski Patrol Level 1 or above Duties: Be available to speak fluently with non-English speaking guests and staff during medical, emergency or non-emergency situations while on the clock Accepted Languages: Spanish Mandarin French American Sign Language Director of Patrol has the authority to approve other languages based on operational needs.
