We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Powder Coat Paint Technician. We create the tools, technology, and equipment to help everyone from elite athletes focused on their next big day, to beginners getting ready for day one, to move more, move better and move forward. Job Responsibilities
Operates cone, disk, or nozzle type electrostatic painting equipment to spray charged paint particles onto grounded work pieces. Adjusts gun consoles to start flow current and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment. Turns valves and observes gauges to set pressure and to control flow of paint to each spray station. Inspects painted units for light, heavy, and unpainted areas, and may hand spray parts to cover unpainted areas. Readjusts pressure valves to control direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in coating. Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads and hoses. Hand sprays parts to cover unpainted areas. Add paint according to specifications to regulate consistency according to changes in atmospheric conditions. Perform housekeeping in the work area to maintain a safe work area and control usage and loss of parts while working. Ability to meet physical demands of a job. Other duties may be assigned.
