The North America Motors & Drives division, a $1B global business within the Power and Efficiency Solutions Segment of Regal Rexnord, is seeking a Director of Product Management for our Motors Business Unit. This is a critical role in creating and driving a growth-focused product strategy. Reporting to the SVP and GM of the Motors and Drives division, this role will have responsibility for the development and execution of product line roadmaps that enable sustainable differentiation for the business while ensuring a balanced portfolio of investments in core products. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional product development teams, sales teams, marketing communications teams, finance teams, and business leadership. S/he will be responsible for driving activities and decisions focused on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and growing market share through innovation with purpose. In addition, this role is responsible for developing a team of product managers and specialists who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are driven to excel and perform at their highest potential. This leader will emphasize and leverage talent assessment and development, application of the RBS 80/20 framework, and a strong cultural awareness to drive transformation within the division. Key Responsibilities Product Management Manage the entire life cycle of the Motor product lines within the division, from strategic planning and product definition to tactical launch activities, share growth, and end-of-life management. Run the Motors product families as a profit and loss (P&L) statement, with accountability for growth and margin attainment. Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products, and executes countermeasures where appropriate. Coordinate and lead the ongoing Innovation and VOC exercises. Combine this information with a business case analysis to define business requirements and the product's value proposition. Develop and implement cohesive short- and long-term product line roadmaps for Motors platforms. Talent Management Lead and mentor multiple direct reports to be responsible for growth, voice of customer, innovation, and product line simplification. Develop a high-performance team by engaging, coaching, and developing team members on application information, product initiatives, and the RBS 80/20 framework. Drives accountability and ownership at all levels. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Professional Experience/Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. Minimum 8 years of commercial, product or marketing experience with highly engineered products in a complex B2B industrial manufacturing enterprise required. 2+ years leadership experience with increasing responsibility. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint) and CRM (i.e. SalesForce.com or Microsoft Dynamics). Must have the ability to digest commercial transaction data to manage the product families and identify trends/issues (i.e. Power BI). Capable of both strategic thinking and tactical execution. High passion for technology, innovation, and customer engagement. Must be able to travel at least 30% of the time domestically and internationally as required. Relevant industry experience, typically Food & Beverage, Materials Handling/Conveying, and/or Industrial Equipment spaces. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MS Engineering, MBA, etc.) Experience in Agile Product Management teams Experience with NPD stage gate and/or portfolio management systems/software Hands-on experience with the 80/20 process and product line simplification Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
