As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. You will be tasked with welding and fitting various large structural steel components for NAVSEA related equipment. Responsibilities
Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. Weld and fit various large structural steel components for NAVSEA related equipment. Apply flux core, pulse, MIG pulse, and structural welding techniques. Interpret and work with blueprints to ensure accurate fitting. Perform fabrication tasks with stainless steel. Essential Skills
3-5+ years of experience in structural welding. 3-5+ years of experience in both flux core welding and pulse welding. Proficiency in NAVSEA standards and requirements. Expertise in fabrication and fitting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in shipyards and other related fields fabricating and welding large steel components for NAVSEA related equipment. Experience working with stainless steel. Why Work Here?
