Aegis Senior Program Manager
The Naval Systems & Sustainment Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU), Ship Systems Integration & Test (SSI&T) business is seeking to hire an Aegis Senior Program Manager located at one of our Massachusetts locations or at our Chesapeake Virginia site. This program manager will report to the Aegis Sustainment Director and is responsible for the overall success of the Aegis sustainment programs. This role will also require an individual to maintain and continue to strengthen our domestic relationships with our US Navy customer Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) and work across the Production team and customer to manage execution priorities. The program manager will serve as a key driver in leading successful execution of the Aegis program, setting the direction, leadership, and management for execution of the sustainment contracts, growth, and AOP commitments for the organization. The program manager will also have the responsibility to indirectly manage functional teams to ensure flawless execution while meeting all contract deliverables. This role will also include the accountability for profit and loss, EAC authority, and margin expansion to our AOP. Furthermore, they will be the subject matter expert supporting risk management, gate reviews, product affordability, proposal development and contract negotiations. **This is an onsite position at one of our facilities in Marlboro MA, Chesapeake VA, or Tewksbury MA. **Relocation assistance is NOT available Leadership and management of sustainment execution Partner with functional organizations such as supply chain, finance, contracts, engineering Assist in preparation of Annual Operating Plan and financial reviews Develop and execute program growth strategies for domestic and internal growth Lead several non-TINA and TINA proposals Support fact finding and negotiations Oversee execution of BOA and Spares and Repairs contracts Travel as needed Raytheon and RTX Business Acumen SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables Aegis Program Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience Prior Program/Project management experience Prior experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar platform/program Experience working government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external Experience with the USN, NAVSUP, customer community Leadership and management of program execution Partnering with functional organizations such as finance, contracts, engineering Experience in proposal development and negotiations Experience in preparation of Annual Operating Plan and financial reviews Developing and executing program growth strategies for domestic and internal growth Earned Value Management Systems certification Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
