Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Reporting to the Manager, Contracts OPRA in the Grants and Contracts (G&C) unit of the Office of Research and Project Administration (ORPA), the Export Control Analyst plays a critical role in supporting MSK's Export Control Compliance Program (ECP). This position ensures institutional compliance with U.S. export control regulations and manages collaborative research agreements linked to sponsored research funding. Conduct export control reviews and lead export license applications. Develop and maintain Technology Control Plans (TCPs) and compliance documentation. Draft, negotiate, and execute collaborative research agreements (funded and non-funded). Interpret and apply federal and sponsor-specific contract terms and regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Tech Development, Clinical Research) to ensure consistent and compliant agreements. Provide training and outreach on export control and contract compliance. Lead or contribute to special projects, process improvements, and institutional initiatives. Prepare reports and metrics related to export compliance and contract activity. Key Qualifications: Strong knowledge of U.S. export control regulations including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC. Experience drafting and negotiating research-related agreements. Familiarity with federal contracting regulations (FAR, DFAR, CFR). Ability to assess and mitigate institutional risk in research collaborations. Core Skills: Export compliance review and license management. Contract negotiation and interpretation. Risk assessment and mitigation. Stakeholder communication and training development. Policy and process improvement. Additional Information: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs.
