Apex is seeking a Senior Ergonomist to be based in Seattle, WA. Your Responsibilities as a Senior Ergonomics Consultant: Provide comprehensive ergonomics consulting services to clients. Acts as a senior advisor to the customer on ergonomics issues. Collaborate with program managers, client relationship managers, support staff and customers for the scheduling and provision of ergonomics services. Lead and direct the work of others as needed with the opportunity to mentor junior internal Apex staff. In close routine collaboration with the external customer, design, implement and execute an agreed-to service plan. Monitors and reports progress on plan completion as directed. Works with numerous internal and external stakeholders in the interest of achieving desired overall project velocity. Develop and provide clients with customized reports, or training materials. Train ergonomics concepts and business value at multiple levels from client leadership to client front line staff to internal Apex stakeholders. Participate in business development activities as directed. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree required

preferably, in a science or engineering field. Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience required, working in the occupational safety and ergonomic fields, a plus if there incumbent has Industrial Hygiene experience. Examples of desirable (but not required) professional credentials: Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP); Associate Safety Professional (ASP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Professional accreditation such as Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE), Certified Industrial Ergonomist (CIE), beneficial but not required. Possess extensive knowledge of ergonomics technical subject matter and how to apply it in real-life settings. Highly familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the ergonomics field. General Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills. A great deal of creativity and self-starter initiative is required. This position entails routine ongoing work with numerous customer stakeholders

all of whom need to be 'satisfied' with respect to project purpose, scope, and tactics. Relies on experience and judgment paired with the overall work statement provided by the customer to plan and accomplish goals. Ensures compliance with all EHS regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices. Experience with data management and report preparation. Valid driver's license required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Select Key Performance Indicators: Demonstrates the ability to work independently, successfully executing technical projects with minimal supervision. Customer needs are met on a timely basis and emergencies are responded to quickly. Meets annually established goals for personally-generated revenue, and utilization %. Meets annually established goals for Customer satisfaction. Pursues ongoing professional development as mutually agreed with the Business Unit Manager.
