Fiber Designer
We're hiring a Fiber Designer for a 3-year, on-site contract in Chattanooga, TN. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major fiber optic infrastructure projects supporting overhead and underground networks. Pay: $25$28/HR (OT eligible) Schedule: MonFri, 85 (some weekend work may be required) Location: On-site only in Chattanooga, TN You will: Design FTTx, overhead, and underground fiber networks using AutoCAD Create fiber splicing, mapping, and record-keeping documentation Estimate materials/labor and support emergency restoration efforts Interface with internal teams and external partners for project coordination Requirements: 3+ years of OSP fiber design experience Strong AutoCAD skills Knowledge of FTTx and OSP construction practices CAD-related associate's degree preferred This is a contract-to-direct role with long-term stability and the opportunity to grow with a well-established engineering team.
