Weekend coverage includes one weekend per month and up to three holidays per year. On-call duty requires a minimum of one day per week from Monday to Thursday. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Modules are required and are billable up to five hours spent on them. Total module time may reach ten hours, but any time spent in excess of five hours is non-billable. Modules must be completed prior to starting the position and may vary by specialty. Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Return staff policy requires one year before reapplying.
