We’re looking for an

amazing Director, Fuel Performance & Itinerary Management . You’ll be responsible for leading a team of three to ensure that final ship itineraries are navigationally safe, environmentally compliant, and energy-efficient during the deployment development stage. The Director is responsible for PCL’s fuel budget daily and driving the implementation of operational energy efficiency and cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the role includes leading initiatives to meet the CII rating goals of the PCL Fleet and achieve corporate and regulatory Carbon Intensity/Greenhouse Gas reduction targets. The position also requires overseeing the preparation of accurate fuel forecasts for the entire fleet, assisting with marine fleet support, and managing acute itinerary and operational needs. Responsibilities Manage daily fuel budget. Develop energy efficiency and fuel cost reduction strategies. Collaborate with shipboard management teams and shoreside deployment, technical, environmental, and procurement teams. Lead and motivate ship management teams to implement energy efficiency initiatives. Develop KPIs for PCL Fleet CII and other GHG goals. Drive energy meetings with ship and shoreside management. Keep management updated on fuel performance and opportunities. Collaborate with corporate fuel and data teams for fuel consumption analysis. Ensure safe and efficient itineraries that meet CII and other GHG goals during deployment development. Assist with daily fleet operations and lead marine operational projects as directed. Requirements Lead the PCL fuel team, manage fuel budget, develop KPIs, motivate teams, and drive initiatives, including technical and IT projects related to energy efficiency. Collaborate on designing safe itineraries supporting fuel efficiency and GHG reduction goals. Support fleet operational needs and lead marine projects as directed. Develop and oversee fuel forecasting and procurement processes in collaboration with relevant teams. Stay updated on energy efficiency innovations and industry initiatives. Act as Maritime Emergency Response leader in major incidents. Maintain knowledge on ship operations and technical systems to identify efficiency opportunities, which may require travel. Qualifications Nautical sciences, Marine Engineering degrees preferred. Master license for all ships preferred. Minimum 5 years in senior deck officer roles, preferably in the cruise industry. Minimum 5 years in maritime or cruise industry operational management roles. Strong knowledge of shipboard operations, fuels, procurement, energy efficiency, and technical analysis. Proficient in Microsoft 365. Excellent communication and leadership skills across disciplines and cultures. Ability to present reports and represent the company in industry and regulatory forums. Leadership by example and fostering an inclusive workforce. Additional Details This is a hybrid position, requiring three days in the office (Tue-Thu).
