Are you an organized, reliable, and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting healthcare professionals? Join our team as an Office Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our behavioral health clinic. You'll provide essential administrative support to our clinical staff, contribute to the well-being of our members, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals-all within a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm member appointments efficiently.
  • Collect and verify insurance information; update member records in our EHR system.
  • Track appointment attendance, cancellations, and no-shows.
  • Create, organize, and maintain accurate member charts.
  • Assist with compiling clinical documentation and other requested information.
  • Scan and enter data/information accurately into electronic health records.
  • Greet callers and guests in a professional and welcoming manner. Escort members to appointments as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with staff to support seamless clinic operations.
  • Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Follow all agency policies and licensing requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the program or department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an office clerical setting preferred.
  • Experience in medical or behavioral health environments strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card within 8 weeks of hire.
  • TB Test clearance required at the time of hire.
