Job Overview
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Senior Administrative Assistant in the Administrative Division in our Mesquite Office . The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies in our Mesquite office for up to four (4) months.
THIS CURRENT VACANCY IS IN OUR MESQUITE OFFICE
Responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to an assigned manager of an administrative section or to an assigned supervisor of a complex work group.

Minimum Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of progressively relevant administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access with minimum typing speed of 50 net words per minute.
  • Associate Degree and one (1) year of work experience as a District Administrative Assistant level preferred.
  • Professional experience in State or local government preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
  • Some positions require specialized skills, experience, certification or other requirements which will be identified by the hiring authority at the time of recruitment.
