This role requires a careful observer and data gatherer with experience in telemetry and EKG. The incumbent will work under the direction of the Charge Nurse, providing basic patient care, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting patient educational needs.Key Responsibilities:Careful observation and accurate documentation of patient information.Basic patient care tasks under the direction of the Charge Nurse.Excellent communication skills, routing messages to the appropriate personnel.Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients in accordance with hospital standards.Using a customer service attitude when assisting patients and families with their needs.Performing ward clerk and clerical tasks as required.Maintaining equipment and performing routine cleaning tasks.Assisting RN with patient educational needs.Physical Requirements: The role involves standing, walking, and lifting as necessary to perform patient care tasks. The ability to bend, stoop, and assist with the mobility of patients is essential.QualificationsQualifications:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).Certifications: BLS/CPR (Preferred).Experience:Nursing Assistant: 1 year (Preferred).Monitor Tech: 1 year (Preferred).Soft Skills:Careful observation and attention to detail.Effective communication skills.Customer service attitude.Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.This job description is subject to applicable laws and regulations.
