About The Position
13-week assignment. 12-hour shift / 36 hours per week. Shift time is 1730-0600. Must have a current WA License, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP. Must be a team player and any RTO needs to be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract. We are located close to the PNW beaches and the Olympic National Forrest. Please add any approved RTO to the end of the contract RegisteredRespiratory Therapists are responsible for providing, coordinating, anddirecting individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients basedupon assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. ACCOUNTABILITY Accountableto: Cardiopulmonary Director. In the absence of the Director, isresponsible to the Lead RRT. Once oriented, the RRT is expected to functionwith a minimum of supervision. POSITIONREQUIREMENTS Current Washington State license, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Will maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certification Will practice within the scope of practice of a RCP. Prefer one year of current acute care experience; but may be a new graduate Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department Shift: 1730-0600 Specialty Type: Cardiopulmonary Sub Specialties: Respiratory Therapy General Certifications: General Certifications(ACLS,BLS/BCLS,PALS,NRP); Respiratory Certifications(RRT) Please CLICK HERE to view details. 9911305EXPTEMP
