Job Description Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Shift: 18:00 - 06:30
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist, either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), to provide essential Cardiopulmonary Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures. - Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas. - Maintain airways and manage ventilators. - Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations. - Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests. - Analyze blood gas samples.
Facility Requirements:
- Must possess NBRC RRT certification (attach to submission). - Must have an active Ohio RT license (attach to resume). - Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association).
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in both clinical and travel settings will be highly regarded. - Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is a plus. - Candidates with prior experience in similar roles or at similar facilities are encouraged to apply.
