Position Description : We have a total hospice census of about 100 with 21 beds in an inpatient setting (McClure Miller Respite House MMRH) 80 in home/ SNF/ALF setting -
CRU MUST START ASAP in THE NEXT 2 WEEKS, LICENSE ON FILE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION
Hospice RN: Call coverage rarely needed but could cover on call team. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Requirements : AHA BLS required A minimum of 3 years of prior community hospice experience Will need excellent typing skills as they have a narrative heavy EMR Hospice/End of Life-Complex symptom management and education symptom assessment and management with high level of critical thinking skills Comfort initiating and participating in goals of care discussions and planning with patients, family, and team Medication management and administration (IV, Subcutaneous, oral, sublingual, rectal, and other routes) Additional Information: IVS to OFFER • Monday to Sunday • No block schedules for any reason •Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained • This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: • Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended • should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November - April
