Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician
for our
properties
in our
Metro-Atlanta
area.
Local Traveling Required Job Type-Full-Time
Job Description Summary The Floating Maintenance Technician will travel to a single property per day to complete work orders, prepare apartments for move in, perform preventative maintenance, property upkeep and repairs. Performs routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas and amenity areas. Prepares vacant units for new move-ins. Performs routine preventive maintenance. Assists in various cleaning functions and assists in monitoring the grounds. Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas and amenity areas. Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, which may include the maintenance of the unit, painting, cleaning, HVAC
maintenance/repairs
and carpet cleaning. Complete work orders and help to monitor and maintain the grounds. Respond to On-Call Emergency in a timely manner. Maintains and repairs buildings: areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems. Assists with moving furniture, appliances, loading, unloading, and storing supplies. Requirements: High School diploma, or GED equivalency, and a minimum of 1-2 years direct experience as Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community. EPA I or II, Universal or HVAC certified is
required . CPO Certification is a plus and experience maintaining pools is
required Thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems. Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus Must be able to local travel up to 80% of the time.
