Lead Full Stack Developer/Architect, VP

Who we are looking for This is a hands-on Lead Developer position in State Street Market's Secured Finance division. We are looking for a candidate who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that's always pushing boundaries. The ideal candidate has experience developing applications using Java/J2EE, APIs, databases, AWS, Databricks, and multiple back-end languages. What you will be responsible for As Lead Developer/Architect, you will: Design & develop SSGM-Secured Financing applications using AWS and Databricks. Possess expert-level knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, front-end architecture patterns, and performance optimization techniques. Be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation. Work collaboratively within an agile project team. What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role: Experience as a design lead and developer in cloud technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Core Java, Tomcat or other J2EE servers, Oracle/Exadata, GitHub, MQ, Kafka, PL/SQL, Perl, scripting languages, and other open-source technologies. Expertise with Spring framework, including Core Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, etc. Experience with Scrum, Agile modeling, and adaptive software development is preferred. Experience with continuous integration, build processes, test automation, and deployment. Expertise with modern UI frameworks like ReactJS. Education & Preferred Qualifications Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field. 15+ years of progressive experience. At least 5 years of experience with ReactJS. Experience performing data analysis and exploration. Experience working in an agile delivery environment. Understanding of DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins). Experience working in a multi-developer environment using version control systems like Git. Salary Range: $130,000 - $205,000 annually. The quoted range applies to the primary location specified. If the candidate works outside this location, the applicable range may differ.
