The

Director of the Vendor Manager Team

will manage a North America Vendor Manager Team of 6-7 members and be accountable for increasing vendor sales growth across all assigned vendors. The incumbent will develop GTM strategies and tactics to drive profitable sales growth and ensure that sales volumes for various vendors and products are achieved according to the corporate business plan. They will focus on three key business development areas: reseller recruitment, enablement, and demand generation through collaborations with their Vendor Manager Team, Vendor Sales/Marketing team, and Climb Sales/Marketing teams. Responsibilities: Manage a high-performance vendor sales team consisting of remote employees throughout the US. Drive YoY sales growth and increase Climb's vendor market share. Achieve key performance indicators supporting the vendor's distribution plans, including sales, customer profitability, gross margin, customer satisfaction, and customer breadth & depth. Manage, coach, motivate, develop, and evaluate the Vendor Manager team on lead qualification, prospect needs assessment, closing opportunities, and relationship building. Oversee the development and execution of effective Vendor marketing plans. Ensure the Vendor Managers meet their quarterly KPIs and communicate updates to vendors. Identify new sales tools and innovative ideas to support business development initiatives. Define customer service strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and recovery. Collaborate with other departments to support the vendor team. Guide the sales team in resolving complex vendor and reseller issues. Establish and maintain relationships within the vendor lines. Foster a culture of accountability and ownership, managing the Professional Development Review process. Monitor market trends, especially in IT Security, and recommend new vendor partnerships. Act as an advisor to Senior Management on strategic plans and business proposals. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: A 'Need to Win' attitude with perseverance to complete sales initiatives. Relationship-oriented team player capable of gaining commitment across organizational levels. Relevant marketing, selling, and technical qualifications, with experience in technology distribution channels. Strong competencies in strategic planning, leadership, relationship management, impact, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making. Exceptional organization, time management, prioritization, and execution skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
