Mechanical Maintenance Technician Location:

Job Summary: Kraft Tool Company is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimize our diverse range of production equipment. This includes CNC machines, hydraulic presses, robotic arms, welding machines, lathes, and mills. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, hydraulic presses, robotic arms, welding machines, lathes, and mills.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule and execute maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards for all machinery and maintenance activities.
Support the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential failures and recommend proactive solutions.
Assist in training operators on proper equipment use and basic care.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated expertise in CNC machines, hydraulic presses, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills .
Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems; ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is a plus.
Experience maintaining and repairing auxiliary equipment, such as conveyors and compressors, used in manufacturing.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field is .
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in a manufacturing environment with noise and temperature variations.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and maintenance best practices.
Strong understanding of robotic programming and troubleshooting for industrial robotic arms.
Work Environment:
This role operates in a dynamic manufacturing facility, involving exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, and occasional temperature fluctuations.
The position requires standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities for extended periods.
