Duties and responsibilities:
Play a critical leadership role in facilitating all aspects of the Scrum framework, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support TGS' energy services across the energy spectrum, through innovation and data-driven solutions.
Coach and influence all levels within the organization to foster increased agility, velocity, predictability, innovation, and quality.
Lead Agile transformations, employing a blend of traditional and cutting-edge Agile methods and tools to empower teams to rapidly deliver high-value functionality that enhances customer satisfaction.
Ensure effective interaction and coordination with other Agile teams for the development of a minimal viable product.
Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, and backlog grooming sessions.
Monitor, document, and report on team health, velocity, and overall project progress.
Resolve or escalate team issues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and open communication.
Drive best practices in Agile and Scrum methodologies, emphasizing collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
Maintain Scrum team capacity plans, Scrum boards, and sprint backlogs, ensuring clarity and transparency in project objectives .
Identify and remove impediments, shielding the team from external distractions and interference.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives .
Proactively manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely communication and escalation when necessary.
Lead and mentor the team in Agile practices, driving continuous improvement and adaptation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial oversight.
Job requirements (Education and Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology or a closely field.
Five (5) years of experience in a Scrum Master role within Agile teams with Scrum, Kanban and Agile management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps , JIRA, Confluence) including five (5) years of experience as an organizational change agent, driving Agile transformations and continuous process improvements, facilitating, leading and coaching Agile teams with risk and change management utilizing knowledge of Agile Project Management processes, methodologies, and principles, with a focus on delivering customer - centric solutions including five (5) years of experience in leading and delivering multiple technology solutions from inception to deployment, using Agile methodologies as well as handling Feature Delivery processes for Scrum Teams, ensuring 100% on-time releases.
Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) certification and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
Alternate Job Requirements:
