We are seeking compassionate and dependable

Overnight

Residential Counselors / Youth Mentors

to support youth in a residential treatment setting. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in

youth work, direct care, behavioral health, or mentoring

who want to make a difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure student safety

by providing supervision and monitoring throughout the night.

Support students emotionally and environmentally by following individualized treatment plans.

Utilize the agency’s

crisis intervention model , including safe physical restraint techniques if absolutely necessary.

Conduct regular safety checks, maintain a

stable and supportive environment , and provide guidance when needed.

Assist with evening routines such as meals, laundry, and bedtime preparation.

Complete pre-shift planning and post-shift debriefings with staff.

Maintain accurate

mental health and program documentation

within compliance standards (training provided).

Communicate effectively with guardians, residential staff, and agency professionals.

Build positive, trusting relationships with students to

promote personal growth, self-awareness, and lasting change .

Engage students in structured processing sessions under the agency’s therapeutic model.

Safely transport students between program locations as needed (company vehicle provided).

Requirements:

At least 21 years old Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship High School Diploma or GED Agree to a Background Screening and Drug Test upon hire Possess a valid NC Drivers License
