About The Position Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in hospital setting required License: RT License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: RT experience Description: Seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position. The assignment lasts for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Flexibility is required for scheduling. The unit typically has 83 beds. Staffing includes 1-2 respiratory therapists on night shifts depending on patient census. The patient ratio typically involves 1 RT covering ICU and another covering med-surg and the emergency department. Equipment used includes AVEA vents and Hamilton C1. Meditech EMR experience is required. Candidates should adhere to the dress code of army green scrubs. Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week, covering every other weekend. Opportunities are available to pick up additional shifts if desired.
