We are looking for an Applications Engineer to join our CT_MTCS team in the United States.

900 Threadneedle Street, Suite 700, Houston, Texas, 77079, United States Job Duties: Develop technical and commercial proposals for Level 3 projects, including proposing modifications to standard designs and configuring using design and costing tools. Develop process simulations for applications. Manage larger and more complex projects. Evaluate customer inquiries to ensure they contain all necessary information to submit a quotation. Liaise with sales and customers to obtain missing information. Collect, understand, and interpret customer requirements for new and/or operating data from complex columns/units. Assist in developing technical proposals and quotations for large or complex systems, including equipment descriptions and specifications. Review and negotiate technical revisions with customers. Respond to customer questions and inquiries regarding technical problems, providing support or assistance. Review and approve the scope of supply in customer orders and create job files per Sulzer specifications. Exercise initiative and sound decision-making to understand and solve large or complex problems. Serve as a subject-matter expert. Assist in training and developing new engineers. Minimum Education:
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years in roles such as Process Engineer, Applications Engineer, Sales and Applications Engineer, Design and Applications Engineer, Applications and Process Technology Engineer, or Applications and Process Technology Manager. The experience must involve designing, specifying, and selling mass transfer components in various applications, including refinery and chemical processes. Travel Requirements:
