The salary range for this role is $52,000-$54,000. What you’ll be responsible for: As Program Associate, Teen Philanthropy Programs, you will be responsible for engaging teens in JUF’s teen philanthropy programs: Voices: The Chicago Jewish Teen Foundation’s 101and Alumni Boards, iGive and Social Justice Giving Circles. You will develop and implement a strategy to increase our presence leading philanthropy activities for teens and partner with local Jewish organizations serving teens to deliver educational content that supports their engagement work. You will support young leaders through mentoring and coaching of Voices Alumni participants and interested teen community leaders. What you’ll be doing: Take the lead on all philanthropy program planning, execution, and evaluation Manage recruitment, applications, and registrations Oversee the development of marketing and PR materials Connect with local, national, and international agencies and nonprofits to solicit grant proposals that fit the funding priorities of teen philanthropy work Identify opportunities to increase teen philanthropy by developing strong working relationships with colleagues in Jewish education and youth programs in, and around, Chicago Manage the Voices and Social Justice Giving Circle budgets Update Salesforce with relevant information about participants and their parents Participate in networking and professional development programs on a regular basis Support the ongoing work of the JUF Teens departmentincluding staffing weekend, evening, and travel programs as needed What you need to succeed: Bachelor’s Degree required 2+ years of post-college experience, preferably in youth engagement work or an educational setting Ability to use Microsoft Office required; experience with Salesforce a plus Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to inspire others Marketing proficiency, affinity for social media platforms, andthe ability to use social media to promote programs Knowledge of basic Jewish values, customs, and rituals Familiarity with the Chicago Jewish Community a plus What you’ll love about us: At JUF, you can be part of one of the largest non-profit social welfare institutions in Illinois.
