A new US-based venture — backed by globally recognized names in the digital asset space — is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Legal & Compliance Officer to join its founding leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to establish the legal and regulatory foundation for a publicly visible company operating at the intersection of capital markets and crypto innovation. In this role, you will be the company’s primary liaison with US regulators, ensuring full compliance across securities law, crypto custody, and real-world asset frameworks. You will architect the compliance infrastructure, advise the board on governance matters, and oversee all public company disclosure obligations. Qualifications: Senior leadership experience in legal or compliance at the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, or a leading crypto exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, etc.). Deep expertise in US securities regulations, crypto custody rules, and RWA compliance. Demonstrated success in regulatory engagement and building trusted relationships with oversight bodies. Strong track record in guiding public company reporting and governance.
