Executive Director - Non-profit Organisation

Overview The Executive Director will lead and manage the organisation to achieve its mission, drive sustainable growth, and deliver impactful services to the community. Working closely with the Board, you will set strategic direction, oversee operations, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Candidates from both the social service and commercial sectors (CEO, COO, Head-level roles) with relevant leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and partner with the Board to set and deliver organisational goals. Oversee daily operations, programmes, and service delivery to ensure quality, efficiency, and community impact. Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a positive, mission-focused culture. Manage budgets, ensure financial sustainability, and identify new funding and partnership opportunities. Build relationships with funders, partners, government agencies, and the public to enhance the organisation’s profile and reach. Ensure compliance with governance standards, legal requirements, and reporting obligations. Qualifications Proven senior leadership experience in the social service, non-profit, or commercial sectors (CEO/COO/Head-level roles). Strong strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight skills. Track record in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and organisational growth.
