Job Summary The Boston Beer Guide plays a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by providing insightful knowledge about our diverse range of beers. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about craft beer and possesses exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will engage with customers, educate them about our products, and create memorable experiences that foster brand loyalty. Responsibilities Engage with customers to provide an exceptional service experience, ensuring their questions and needs are met. Educate customers on various beer styles, brewing processes, and tasting notes to enhance their understanding and appreciation of our products. Conduct tastings and presentations, utilizing strong public speaking skills to communicate effectively. Assist in organizing events and promotions that highlight our beer offerings, demonstrating leadership and time management abilities. Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and product knowledge sharing. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations. Transport guests to breweries on pre-set itineraries using City Brew Tour's 14-passenger vans. Experience Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within the food or beverage industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse audiences; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in public speaking or group presentations. Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Driving experience with a valid driver’s license, no DUIs or at-fault accidents; specify any points on license.
