Job Description:

The Digital Events Producer & Content Editor will oversee all aspects of digital event production, content editing, and multimedia storytelling. This role will be responsible for producing (recording and editing) webinars and virtual video content that reflect the professional and thought leadership of our firm, whether creating original material or repurposing content developed by others for broader digital use. Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; Rochester, NY; San Francisco, CA; Washington, DC Remote video production Schedule and manage remote video recording sessions, serving as the technical producer and point of contact for participants Coach speakers on best practices for appearing on remote video, including lighting, framing, and delivery. Ensure high production quality across all recordings, with a strong understanding of remote video tools and workflows. Virtual events producer Manage logistics and delivery of real-time and on-demand virtual event solutions (including webcasts, webinars and other pre-recorded presentations) for external business development purposes, as well as internal Marketing & BD focused events and priority Firm Wide video initiatives Set-up, attend and provide live technical support for virtual events - both real-time and on-demand Participate in run throughs for virtual events, making recommendations on best practices Post-production and content editing Edit video and audio content for use on the firm's website, social media, and other digital platforms. Repurpose long-form content (e.g. webinars, interviews) into shorter, engaging formats tailored for different channels and audiences. Apply brand and accessibility standards to all content. Digital storytelling and strategy Collaborate with marketing and communication team to shape compelling narratives that align with the firm's voice and goals. Understand how to optimize content for reach and engagement across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and email. Stay current on digital media trends and recommend new formats and approaches to enhance visibility and impact. Technology and process improvement Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software and tools. Recommend improvements to virtual event processes and workflows Conduct training on video event tools such as Zoom and Webex Cross-functional collaboration Liaise with IT, Digital Strategy, Marketing & Business Development, and Communications + Design teams Additional responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential job responsibility listed above, satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Job Requirements:

5-8 years of social media experience including planning and managing content, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications preferred. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Proven experience producing and supporting web conferences (meetings, webcasts, webinars) on Zoom and/or Webex. Experience in video editing (Adobe Premiere, Davinci). Experience with the Adobe Creative suite is a plus. Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (i.e. Riverside.fm, Zencastr, SquadCast). Familiarity video hosting platforms (Vimeo). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, required. Ability to demonstrate planning competency, ability to prioritize work and strong time management skills are required Knowledge of live streaming to social platforms (LinkedIn Live) Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure while having a great phone/web presence Comfort level with explaining complex technical features and presenting to external and internal clients Excellent written/oral communication skills with a positive mindset In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position, depending on location, is as follows: Rochester, NY: $70,500 to $104,500 Boston, MA: $77,500 to $114,950 Chicago, IL: $77,500 to $114,950 Los Angeles, CA: $77,500 to $114,950 Washington, DC: $77,500 to $114,950 New York, NY: $85,000 to $126,500 San Francisco, CA: $85,000 to $126,500 In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range(s) are Nixon Peabody's good faith estimate of the annual salary(ies) it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting.
