Position Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day procurement activities including, but not limited to, supplier onboarding requests, requisitions & PO life cycle management in Coupa.
Additionally, the Senior Procurement Specialist acts as the point of contact for procurement requests and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
These may include but are not limited to:
Take ownership of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle (supplier onboarding and deactivation, PR setup and approvals, PO approvals, closures, change orders setup and approvals, Invoice resolution, Catalogs setup, etc) for relevant requests. Support the company initiatives with market research of vendors, pricing, quotes, catalogs, and other such information to promote continuous improvement for procurement. Lead the analysis and preparation of regularly scheduled reports to support partner functions. Support and adhere to Procurement policies, procedures, and workflows for all our systems; Develop and maintain supplier relationships to effectively solicit quotes, address, and resolve issues related to price, delivery and/or quality of goods and services. Identify and execute opportunities to increase number of suppliers on the Coupa Portal and streamline the procurement process Review and negotiate simple to moderately complex contracts for goods and services. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information to develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem-solving situations with internal departments. Conduct end user training and mentor other procurement specialists as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience with 5 years of experience minimum in a procurement role Hands-on experience using P2P software like Coupa, Ariba, Oracle etc. Effective collaboration, communication, and internal/external negotiation skills. Extensive knowledge of procurement policies and procedures. Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to continuous process improvements. Strong send of urgency and initiative skills, with a positive/can-do/take-charge attitude, a sense of urgency and attention to detail. Solid analytical and computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word and other MS Office products. Demonstrated integrity and ability to upkeep sensitive and confidential information Must be able to work independently as well as be a team-player, in a fast paced environment.
Preferred
Experience in regulated industry/Lifesciences for the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job. Laboratory Activities (if applicable): Biology and chemical laboratory environment experience needed. Environmental health and safety requirements also apply.

Total Compensation
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education. Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states. Salary Range
The salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $113,000.
In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. We also provide top-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and a winter company shutdown.
