We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team for a
3-6 month contract.
The length of the contract may vary depending on business needs and project scope. This individual will play a vital role in advancing our mission of bringing hope, reducing fears and impacting lives. Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for leading and managing the full cycle recruiting processes related to recruiting, sourcing, hiring, community outreach and onboarding ensuring a positive candidate experience. Responsibilities/Duties: Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and other recruiting channels under the guidance of HR leadership.
Partners with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, gather information on current job openings and required qualifications.
Develop strong relationships with colleges and universities to develop a strong talent pipeline and to promote Navian Hawaii as an employer of choice
Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to determine candidate qualifications.
Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and interviewers to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
Responsible for providing clear communication to ensure positive candidate experience and develop plans for a well-rounded interview process.
Partner with the Communications and Marketing team to develop best practices for external job advertisements on social media, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
Conducts proactive sourcing strategies including networking, cold calling, and attending job fairs to attract top talent.
Coordinates and facilitates interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer processes.
Review and analyze data, recruitment trends, turnover and promotions
Supports the new hire onboarding and the process by coordinating logistics and providing administrative support.
Maintain accurate and up to date recruiting files
Supports the department and organization at achieving results
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources or recruiting.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development or related field or equivalent amount of experience.
Strong leadership, oral, writing and communication skills
Data-driven decision-making capabilities
Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems
SHRM certification,
Hours: Generally, Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am through 4:30 pm. Some evening and holiday hours, as required. Working Conditions: This is a remote position. In office (must be able to commute to Honolulu) as needed to support in-person meetings, new hire and other matters.
