Perform package/board/system level power integrity simulations, implement, validate, and correlate to simulation. Extract PDN (Power Delivery Network) models based on simulation. Work with cross-functional teams to solve power integrity and signal/power noise coupling issues that affect Desense, Coex, and EMI. Develop and improve design methodologies to minimize power noise and cross-coupling between multi-functional modules inside the system. Minimum Qualifications

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience. Experience in power integrity and power noise induced coupling simulation and measurement. Experience working with actual product package/board/system design, analysis, simulation methodology development, and lab correlation/validation of simulation results. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in designing and analyzing product power supply solutions, including PMIC (VRM) and PDN models. Strong fundamentals in 3D/2D EM simulation tools such as Q3D, HFSS, Maxwell, SiWave, PowerSI, CST, COMSOL, etc. Good knowledge of electromagnetic and transmission line theory. Familiarity with lab equipment such as VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, etc. Excellent documentation skills, including test plan writing and presentations. At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
