Superintendent
to lead field operations on a high-density, ground-up residential development in San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally ranked contractor known for its structured operations, strong internal mentorship, and consistent recognition for multifamily excellence. The Project Market-rate multifamily development Ground-up, high-density podium-style construction Local project—no travel required What You'll Do Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to turnover Direct and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to meet project milestones Enforce safety, quality, and schedule standards in accordance with company and project requirements Manage daily reports, schedules, and progress updates for the project team Resolve field conflicts quickly and effectively to maintain workflow and budget alignment Conduct site walks and inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications What You Bring 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent role for multifamily or large-scale residential construction Proven track record of delivering ground-up podium or high-density projects on time and within budget Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple trades in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools Commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) Annual bonus eligibility Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match Long-term local project pipeline offering stability and career growth High-mentorship environment with opportunities for advancement into senior leadership Why Join This Team This firm ranks among the top 25 general contractors in the U.S. for multifamily construction.
