Engagement Management team —the customer success function responsible for driving long-term partnerships, delivering cutting-edge data solutions, and shaping the future of AI development alongside our customers. As the
Head of Engagement Management for DaaS , you will own the end-to-end relationship with our enterprise customers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data pipelines while developing trusted, strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You’ll lead a team that interfaces directly with AI leaders at the frontier—navigating technical complexity, influencing product/technical strategy, and ensuring successful delivery from pilot through to long-term production. You will be a customer champion, technical advisor, and operator—building the foundation of a high-impact team that directly influences both customer outcomes and Snorkel’s growth trajectory. Responsibilities
Lead the Strategic Engagement team , scaling a high-performing group that serves as
the trusted primary partner for DaaS customers —from initial pilot through full-scale deployment— driving exceptional delivery outcomes, revenue growth, and long-term account expansion . Build the
operating plan and long-term vision
for the Engagement Management team, identifying key investments to scale customer success and drive revenue growth. Lead with a metrics-driven mindset,
developing KPIs and success metrics to track performance, quality, and customer value of the Engagement Management team. Oversee the on-time, high-quality delivery of complex datasets,
translating technical complexity into clear business value, and guiding customers from pilot to production to secure long-term commitments, scale revenue, and improve margins. Accelerate revenue by strategically driving growth,
upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our portfolio of customers and partnering with Sales and Marketing on high-impact expansion initiatives. Develop
trusted, strategic relationships
with senior technical stakeholders at AI labs and tech giants—guiding their journey and ensuring mutual success. Champion customer and business needs,
shaping priorities across teams while surfacing insights to continuously improve delivery, experience, and technical capabilities. Identify and manage delivery risks and blockers , escalating cross-functionally as needed to maintain project momentum. Collaborate across Snorkel’s teams
—Delivery Ops, Engineering, Research, GTM, and Product—to align on customer priorities and execute effectively. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in customer success, technical account management, consulting, or engagement management —ideally in a data/ML, SaaS, or technical services context. Proven track record building and maintaining high-value customer relationships at the executive level, ideally within enterprise tech or AI/ML ecosystems. Strong project management and delivery oversight experience, with the ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and drive cross-functional execution. Technical aptitude and fluency in data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, or data annotation—comfortable being hands-on with complex use cases. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly convey value, manage stakeholders, and resolve challenges diplomatically. Experience growing and mentoring high-performing teams; excited to build a team from the ground up. Passion for GenAI, customer outcomes, and building in fast-paced, high-impact environments. B.S. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or comparable degree/experience. Travel up to 20% based on customer needs. The salary range for this position based in the San Francisco Bay Area is $160,000-$240,000. All offers include equity compensation in the form of employee stock options.
