Duties Nature of Work:
This is professional clerical work assisting the Official Reporters of Debates. Responsibilities include gathering all materials related to the Morning Business section of the Congressional Record, such as executive and legislative messages, bills, resolutions, reports, amendments, notices, etc. Additionally, the role involves compiling other materials for inclusion in the Record and recording daily floor activity for reference purposes. The work is governed by Senate rules, regulations, the Senate Ethics Manual, the U.S. Senate Handbook, and Secretary of the Senate policies, requiring independent judgment in setting priorities and handling assignments.
