IGNITE National IGNITEis a movement of young women who are ready and eager to become the next generation of political leaders. We offer civic education, exposure to elected women, hands on training and work opportunities, and a peer network of women who support each other’s aspirations. We are a national, non-partisan 501c3. IGNITE programs and events are for all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of young women. IGNITE staff are located across the country and work cross-functionally on national and content-area teams. While this position reports to the Director of Operations and is part of the national office team, they will need to maintain positive, collaborative relationships with staff in other parts of the country and be comfortable collaborating virtually. THE POSITION: IGNITE’s Data & Impact Manager will work across the organization to establish and maintain a data driven culture. The Manager will work across teams to assist in the management of major projects through the use of technological resources and evaluate program processes and designs, outcomes, and impact. The Manager will work across teams to implement and execute new processes to improve the quality of program metrics tracking, quantitative data around program impact, and systems performance. The Data & Impact Manager reports to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in database management (HubSpot preferred), technology operations, and evaluation and tracking processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement a process and system for tracking KPIs and long-term forecasting to translate annual goals into quantitative metrics. Assist the IGNITE team in developing key metrics and tracking progress for all programs, events, and fundraising initiatives. Work with Senior Leadership to develop strategic plans and organizational operations based on existing data and metrics. Work with the Programs team to develop and implement program evaluations that provide context and direction for future programming and operations. Maintain processes for staff engagement with technology and systems, and advise on implementation of new platforms to streamline workflow. Create documentation and materials that guide staff and IGNITE members through necessary database management processes and serve as the point of contact for technology needs. Work with staff across initiatives to ensure consistency and integration. Ensure the team is working toward critical targets each quarter, monitoring progress toward goals by utilizing work plans, reminding teams about key deliverables, and ensuring we are hitting key outcomes. Assist the Development team in maintaining donor databases (HubSpot) to ensure timeliness and accuracy of fundraising data. Create and run regular donor reports and dashboards. Assist the Operations team in developing and executing a plan for the use of technology in IGNITE’s program delivery, maintaining quality and measuring impact. Maintain and regularly update IGNITE’S databases for efficiency and accuracy. Manage policy and compliance for cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT governance. Maintain a regular training calendar and host trainings regarding use of technology and tools for IGNITE staff. Other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred Proven track record of success in data management and implementation of new technological systems Significant experience using a customer relationship management software or database, IGNITE uses the following: HubSpot, Asana, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Whova, Accredible Expert level experience using a project management tool such as Asana Ability to make meaning out of different datasets and communicate to various stakeholders Deep commitment to innovation and a strong sense of how to use technology, data, and systems to improve service and efficiency, reduce costs, drive data Extraordinary flexibility and willingness to adapt to new internal and external conditions An affinity for working with a culturally and politically diverse community Excellent organizational development, interpersonal, and communication skills essential Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities Effective decision making and relationship building skills Commitment to building and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collegial workplace; multicultural competence and ability to work across lines of difference Experience working on remote teams, ideally in a geographically dispersed context with a high standard of excellence and accountability.
