The Role SAP Materials Management (MM) functional consultant, subject matter expert (SME) for the Ariba Source-to-Pay platform and Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), managing and supporting them across projects and daily operations. Key responsibilities: Ariba Adoption & Continuous Improvement Drive the ongoing development and increased adoption of the Ariba platform across SATS. Monitor the Ariba product roadmap and communicate upcoming features and changes to internal stakeholders. Identify, plan, and manage the implementation of relevant new Ariba releases. Collaborate with the Procurement team to identify process optimization opportunities and lead the implementation of related solutions. Work closely with IT to ensure seamless integration between Ariba and other enterprise systems. SAP MM Functional Responsibilities Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enhancements in SAP Materials Management (MM) modules, focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, and Logistics processes both in-house development as well as project manage those awarded to vendors. Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM solutionsaligned with industry best practices. Configure purchasing and Inventory processes as required for in-house enhancements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end process alignment. Support testing cycles, including the creation of test scenarios, execution of unit tests, and coordination of User Acceptance Test (UAT) with business users. Provide Level 2 or 3 support and resolve MM related incidents, service requests, and enhancements according to defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) working with vendor teams. Support vendor teams for Service Requests when required. Ariba CIG Integration Responsibilities Collaborate with internal IT and Ariba teams to implement and support the Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) for seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and Ariba (e.g., Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing). Manage and monitor data flow between SAP and Ariba through CIG, ensuring timely and accurate transmission of purchase orders, invoices, goods receipts, and supplier data. Troubleshoot integration issues, manage CIG error logs, and coordinate with Ariba support for resolution of complex issues. Participate in mapping and testing of IDocs, cXML, and APIsrelated to CIG integration points. Maintain documentation of integration architecture, configuration, error handling procedures, and change management records. Governance, Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with key stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and IT to gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous enhancement of system usability and performance. Monitor system licensing usage and ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing relevant documentation related to SAP MM and Ariba systems. Ensure proper controls are in place for data integrity, user access, and process compliance across procurement platforms. Issue Management & System Support Collaborate with stakeholders, internal IT teams, and Ariba support to manage workflow or data-related issues, system outages, and authorization requests. Maintain and update Ariba templates and workflows as needed. Track and manage support cases through the Ariba Support Network to ensure timely resolution. Manage user access and authorization requests in accordance with organizational policies. Reporting & Data Analysis Perform data analysis using the Ariba platform to support business decision-making. Create and manage custom dashboards, public report folders, and define reporting metrics, frequency, and distribution. Develop and implement dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs. Job Requirements Educational Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Mandatory Trade Certificates / Licences (If Any): Certifications in SAP MM (Materials Management), Ariba, or Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) will be considered an added advantage. Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP and Ariba, including involvement in at least two full end-to-end implementation projects. Knowledge & Skills: Deep knowledge in the SAP MM Module, Ariba sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP), Contract administration modules & Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG). Qualification in Project Management and Service Delivery (using Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework) would be an added advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present IT solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as a team on multiple projects and/or concurrent tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills grounded in continuous quality improvement required. Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective vendor, and stakeholder relationships, influence decisions and collaborate effectively across the organization required. Excellent organizational skills and strong structured thinking ability Extensive spread sheet analysis (Excel preferably with course certification) and strong mathematical abilities Domain knowledge in the Food Industry and Supply Chain would be an added advantage. Personal Characteristics & Behaviours: Willing to learn new areas and open-minded to take on new roles within the team as required. Work will be closer to the user base, hence should be willing to work from the office most of the time. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within the team.
