Job Description

This role is responsible for leading the development of end-to-end data-driven solutions, from data collection and model development to deployment and maintenance of business-facing inference services. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, optimizing data models for cloud performance, and maintaining scalable predictive systems. This role will collaborate across teams to establish best practices and reusable components, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution of analytic products that serve the business. As a technical leader, you will drive the development and deployment of machine learning solutions, with a focus on observability, security, and efficient cloud utilization. Key Responsibilities

Identify languages and tools that can bring efficiencies or needed techniques to the team. Develop data sources to solve business problems. Utilize effective project planning techniques to break down complex machine learning and predictive modeling projects into tasks, manage scope, and ensure deadlines are met. Manage analytical and modeling projects with small teams. Mentor and develop team members. Develop models using best practices to address business needs and improve data-driven decisions. Review and evaluate modeling techniques and communicate results to ensure understanding and integration into business processes. Develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and influence business decisions through machine learning and predictive modeling. Collaborate with outside business units to improve decision-making and results through data science solutions. Understand business problems to identify optimal modeling approaches. Develop frameworks and prototypes that integrate data and machine learning to support business decisions. Functional Experience

Experience building and optimizing cloud-based machine learning systems with proficiency in at least one major cloud provider. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks. Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker), observability tools, and cloud security practices. Familiarity with data science tools and libraries (Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Education & Experience

Masters Degree (Preferred) 3+ years of experience (Preferred) Additional Information

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Compensation ranges from $95,700 to $170,925 annually, based on experience and qualifications. The candidate will be required to undergo a background check.
