The Institutional businesses are growing and represent a key component of the company’s business strategy. As an Actuary, you will focus on product management, development, pricing, underwriting, and risk analysis. This role requires combining technical investment, actuarial, and product skills with influence, collaboration, and effective communication with internal teams, corporate functions, and external clients and intermediaries. The Team

The Stable Value Product Team provides insights into the evaluation of new opportunities and the risk characteristics of our in-force business. The Responsibilities

Review and make decisions related to plan underwriting information for new sales opportunities. Evaluate and implement client stable value contract modifications in partnership with legal. Lead and contribute to projects on product changes and new offerings, including pricing, contracts, filing, and risk assessment. Review stable value investment portfolios. Build and maintain pricing and risk analysis models. Determine crediting rates for stable value contracts. Analyze risks and underwriting considerations, participate in contract negotiations. Perform experience studies and set assumptions. Present complex analyses to executive management. Analyze competitive data. Influence and contribute to business strategy and growth. The Minimum Qualifications

Certified ASA or FSA. 8+ years of experience in financial services. 4+ years of stable value experience. 1+ year of synthetic GIC product, contract, and risk experience. The Ideal Qualifications

CFA with experience in ALM, investment portfolios, and risk analytics (desired but not required). Knowledge of stable value or Insurance Company General Account products. Ability to make decisions, demonstrate leadership, influence, and ownership of projects. Initiative, sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple deliverables. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. What to Expect
