Solution Architect (Applications)
As a member of the
Solution Architect Practice Group , you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of systems, ensuring that detailed design and development align with the Enterprise Architecture of the Public Sector. In this role, the
Solution Architect (Applications)
will define technical design direction and software architecture for the solution, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Digital Business Analysts, software engineers, and vendors. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across teams. Key Responsibilities Translate business requirements of the
Public Sector data analytics platform , including application resiliency needs, into comprehensive
application architectural specifications . Create, evaluate, and implement plans and design proposals for
high-impact IT solutions , leveraging leading-edge technologies and methodologies. Consider long-term effectiveness, practicality, technical limitations, and criticality. Manage
technical project delivery : perform code reviews, recommend code changes, collaborate with vendor development teams to resolve technical challenges, and analyze performance tuning and scalability improvements—especially for the Public Sector data analytics platform. Provide
architecture and technical support
during production incidents. Required Experience: Proven experience in
solutioning and implementing enterprise/multitenant data analytics AI/ML platforms on AWS , preferably within
GCC (Government Commercial Cloud)
environments. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
AppStream, Workspaces, Macie, EKS, Sage Maker, Bedrock Familiarity with commercial analytics products like:
Databricks, Informatica, data anonymisation tools Strong understanding of how to
implement, secure, integrate, and troubleshoot
these products with upstream/downstream systems such as:
Kinesis, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Event Bridge, Lambda This role is
not focused on data science or data transformation logic , but rather on
architectural integration and platform engineering . Bonus Skills: Experience in
web application development or modernization . Background in
cloud infrastructure engineering
or
systems integration , especially beyond web-centric applications.
