Job Summary
The Medicaid Portfolio Governance & Administration team works with Executives, Leaders, and teams across the organization to:
Ensure the structure, processes, and people are in place to execute on priority strategies and initiatives.
Enable leadership awareness of progress and risks/issues so they are able to provide direction and support as needed.
Act as a hub facilitating information exchange, connection, resource integration, and collaboration.
As part of this team, the Medicaid Project Portfolio Consultant:
Facilitates definition and maintenance of the annual portfolio of key Medicaid initiatives.
Maintains and evolves project tooling and portfolio standards/processes.
Prepares and monitors portfolio reporting for appropriate forums.
Essential Responsibilities
Promotes learning, builds relationships, and provides actionable feedback to drive projects forward.
Leads or oversees complex projects, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.
Serves as a lead consultant to align stakeholders and facilitate successful project implementation.
Develops requirements for business, process, or system solutions, leading cross-functional teams.
Implements business initiatives and maps current and future state processes.
Aligns and prioritizes organizational objectives, managing complex initiatives.
Supports continuous learning, industry standards, and professional development.
Manages project components, coordinating stakeholders and resources.
Leads change management activities to support business initiatives.
Performs data analyses to inform business decisions.
Participates in vendor management, ensuring service levels are met.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 2 years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years in consulting, project management, data analytics, or related fields, OR a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience, OR 10 years of relevant experience.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include Business Acumen, Change Management, Negotiation, Data Analysis, Project Management, Risk Assessment, and Requirements Elicitation.
