Project Civil Engineer Location
Anchorage, AK (JBER) Salary
Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview. Requirements
Must be a US Citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screening. Responsibilities
Serve as technical expert for control of civil and structural systems for federal construction projects. Review contract documents, plans, and specifications for constructability and compliance. Participate in contract modifications, prepare scopes of work, and assist with government estimates. Assist with steel and welding inspections, quality assurance, and contract administration. Review contractor plans, technical submittals, and RFIs for approval. Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance and technical issues. Prepare payment estimates and verify materials and progress. Demonstrate steel and connection experience; review weld design and compliance. Experience with NDI, AISC certification, and RF/ICD 705 requirements. Monitor construction progress and advise project team on delays. Participate in RFI and submittal reviews and technical interface with designers. Review and assist with HEMP shielding and RF construction requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related. PE license in Alaska. Minimum 10 years’ experience on large federal projects, preferably USACE or DoD. Experience with NDI, AISC, RF Shield, ICD 705, and HEMP design. Benefits
