Description
Work collaboratively with leadership in State Reporting, Student Applications, and Student Data Systems to develop and monitor execution of data management processes, reporting, and supporting student applications to facilitate seamless system and process integration.
Analyze and utilize database information to support development of concise, coherent standardized data reporting processes, reports, and forms.
Work closely with School Leadership, Information Technology, campus administration, and other district divisions to increase accuracy and quality of student data entry and management for state reporting requirements and internal data analysis and reporting.
Serve as a conduit between Information Technology and School Leadership for development, implementation, and support of the district’s Student Information System, student instructional applications and process systems.
Monitors the development, management, measure, and reporting on key service-level metrics including service level agreements, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Facilitates collaboration between supervised teams for technical and data management assistance through process and operations management, report development, and training across platforms.
Coordinates technical assistance and support to campus leadership of operational and technical use of data management systems, such as the district StudentInformation System, Learning Management System, and Student Application and Enrollment system.
Work collaboratively with other district divisions to integrate system-wide activities to meet district targets and division goals including software review and acquisition, data reporting processes and systems, and service expectations.
Stay abreast of all DISD procurement policies and procedures and guidelines to ensure the accurate and timely development of all required procurement documents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Educational Leadership,Information Systems Management, or a directly relatedfield. Master’s Degree from anaccredited university, preferred. ITIL certification, preferred. Five plus years of supervisory experience with at least three years as a campus principal. Demonstrated knowledge of state and local data reporting requirements and policies relating to student enrollment, grading, and attendance, and other student information system elements. Demonstrated experience with assessment and analytics systems and ability to provide concise and coherent reports for a variety of audiences. Demonstrated strong skills in analytics, organization and process management, relationship development with internal and external partners, and coaching/mentoring supervised staff. Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on large and small projects, with changing priorities. Strong self-starter and self-motivator, with the ability to work autonomously.
